Competition Info

  1. Register: After you register for the C2C competition. You will receive a confirmation email from the organizer.
  2. Join Competition: All competitions will host on Saturday. Free entry and welcome to attend and watch.
  3. Levels
    • Rookie: For dancers with less than 2 years of experience
    • Open: Open to all dancers
    • Advanced: Open to all dancers, but we recommend at least 3 years of experience
  4. Participation Rules: When you joining our event or entering the venue, you agree to follow our Terms and Conditions and Code of Conduct. You will respect our scoring and ranking system (RP scoring), and follow the instructions of staff throughout the event.
  5. The competition venue has specific shoe sole requirements. Please refer to the reference file.

  • If you enter Final in advanced level, we will cancel and return your open level.

Compeition detail

Item Prelim
Mix&Match
  • DJ play 3 song for around 1:30
  • Random partner
  • Select 6 finalist and 2 alternative
Strictly
  • Each partner will seperate to Jam Circle, 3~6 partners per circle.
  • The DJ will play as many songs as there are Jam Circles, each song lasting about 2-3 minutes, around BPM 180.
  • During the song, Jam freely on circle.
  • Each judge will focus on one Jam Circle per song, then rotate to another after the song ends.
  • Select 6 finalist and 2 alternative
Solo Staging 1:
  • DJ play 3 song for around 1:30
  • Judge "Tap in" dancer when song playing, the taped dancer will take a rest and wait for staging 2.
Staging 2:
  • DJ play 1 song for around 1:30
  • After song, each judge will select finalist, total 6.
Balboa Mix&Match
  • DJ play 3 song for around 1:30
  • Random partner
  • Select 6 finalist and 2 alternative
